This past weekend I attended a Retro JDM car meet in Las Vegas set up by the guys at DPAN GT. Naturally enough the NV Hachi guys would be out and I of course needed to get a few snaps of the guys basking in the Las Vegas sun. Myke Adam’s was out in his newly dipped Trueno coupe and this new colour looks great in the Vegas sun.
CJ Caolie was there in his supremely clean Trueno GTS coupe. CJ gets this to AutoX as often as he can. Great to see such a clean Corolla still being driven in anger! I’m trying to twist CJ’s arm to allow me to do a more in depth look at this Hachi.
Martin Thomas’s MkI MR2 was in attendance and practically the first words Martin uttered to me was something wasn’t right with the car – that 4AGE life huh? 😛
This is the good side of Channing Skaw’s AE86 – unfortunately the other side is looking quite angry after one of those famous casino Limos from Vegas decided it wanted to occupy the same piece of asphalt. Was such a shame as Channing as poured a lot of time and effort and money into his car. Fingers crossed it will be back to its proper shape soon!
Robert Ruiz attended in his cool E70 also looking very cool on the Work Equips 01. So there you have it – just a short insight into the NV Hachi guys at the DPAN GT meet. I’ll be throwing up a more comprehensive article on www.autolifers.com this weekend!
