It had been a minute since I had hung out with the NV Hachi crew so when I got home from my recent travels and all the hubbub of the holiday season I decided I needed to get out a bit more and be more active.
Garage86 is fast becoming the meeting place for the group. It was great to see old familiar faces again and also see the progression of some of the cars within the group.
You are all familiar with Myke’s Trueno at this stage I am sure and he was in the middle of bleeding his brakes amongst other things. His new Rota’s looking particularly well 😛 j/k.
Ian Perri had dropped by in his Trueno coupe with its excellent Coke livery on it. I really like this Corolla as it has a KA24 from a 240sx no less! Ian is actually thinking of selling the car so hit him up if you can!
Ian and Jason Luong where feverishly working on Jason’s 4AGE which was proving quite stubborn with a timing issue and was unwilling to start. Eventually with some gentle persuasion the 4AG spluttered into life albeit not running 100% – Progress is progress!
Mawcus Jackson’s Panda hatch has had some changes since I seen it last rocking some new shoes and a bucket seat thrown in for good measure. Mawcus likes to throw down on the track from time to time so that new seat is a great addition.
This super clean AE86 arrived belonging to Francis. Francis has only done a very limited amount of mileage in this car in the past year only completing 200 miles in 2017!
Seeing all these road going AE86’s is not doing my mental state any good at all with me considering the possibility of a road car now. The NVHachi gang getting together always turns out to be fun even on a cold January night in Las Vegas!
